SITE INVENTORY & ANALYSIS

Additional data is gathered about the site with respect to your expressed landscape goals this can include grade changes, existing elements that are to remain, the evaluation of probable site construction sequence, microclimates , limitations to construction, site drainage notes, wind, sun exposure, and other site particulars.

LANDSCAPE PLAN DEVELOPMENT

The landscape plan arises from the analysis of, site data, flow patterns, sight lines, architectural forms, the client’s aesthetic tastes and expressed landscape goals, as well as sustainable landscape solutions for the site.

REFINEMENT & SITE DETAILS

Conceptual elements of the design are refined. During this time revisions are made to the plan that resulted from the original presented landscape concepts.Plan details, such as materials selections, planting themes, custom detail for architectural additions or other custom elements

PLANTING THEME

The planting detail is carefully developed over the microclimate zones identified for the site and each area is layered with plants of different textures, bloom times, heights and sizes based on the client’s specific goals and the importance of suitability to our climate and zone.

BUDGET STUDIES & FINALIZED PLAN

Budget studies outlining the costs of the landscape elements are developed to allow dialog on landscape plan priorities and goals.. Any adjustments to the plan are made to finalize the materials, plants, scope of work, phases etc. A complete set of final plans are then printed for the client.

CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT

Construction contracts are submitted by all parties involved in the installation. Any final adjustments are made at this time. This marks the end of the design phase and begins the construction phase of the landscape plan.

DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION

Prior to construction start the landscape plan is reviewed on site with the construction crews where crucial elements are laid out; any changes are discussed and resolved before work begins. During the project, daily review of the work, dialog with the client, hand selection of materials and facilitation of materials delivery is occurring on a regular basis including typically, infrastructure (water, electrical, gas lines, drainage pipes, sleeves), hardscape, custom detail (water, fire, lighting, etc), irrigation, plant selection, plant placement on site and finishing touches.
